Coyote Gulch Demonstration Facility

Solix Biofuels' demonstration facility is located at Coyote Gulch in southwestern Colorado. This large-scale facility compliments our pilot facility in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Our Coyote Gulch Demonstration Facility is the first of its kind anywhere in the world. It is located in southwestern Colorado near the city of Durango on land provided by our partner, the Southern Ute Alternative Energy Fund.

The Coyote Gulch Demonstration Facility incorporates our AGS^TM Technology with integrated propagation and extraction facilities. We are using waste water generated during coal-bed methane production thus reducing the need for fresh water. We are also using the CO₂ produced by the amine plant by capturing and redirecting it through our AGS^TM Technology to feed the microalgae.
