Douglas R. Henston
Doug Henston is Chief Executive Officer of Solix. Previously he was a strategic consultant in carbon mitigation strategies and renewable energies with Domani Sustainability Consulting, and was President of Community Operations for Affordable Residential Communities (NYSE: ARC) in Denver, helping to grow the company from start-up to IPO in 2004. Prior to moving to Colorado, Doug worked at Goldman Sachs in the fixed income group. He served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1992 as a Naval Aviator. Doug sits on the Board of the Colorado Bioscience Association and holds a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dr. Bryan Willson
Bryan Willson is Chief Technology Officer and is overseeing development of the technology and science for Solix. Bryan is also a professor of mechanical engineering at Colorado State University. He is the Founder and Director of its Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory, where technology development is well underway. Bryan has led the commercialization of several projects focused on emission reductions and adoption of alternative fuels. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Anna Ettinger
Dr. Ettinger is the Solix Chief Biologist. She oversees the development of our biology program. A skilled manager and scientist with extensive experience working with academia and industry, she has over 15 years of experience in biotech product development from concept inception to commercialization. Her broad experience includes Protein Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Diagnostics and Molecular Biology. Dr. Ettinger holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry, Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine and an M.S. (summa cum laude) in Biology and Chemistry from Nizhin State Gogol University, Ukraine.

Richard Schoonover
Richard Schoonover is the Chief Operating Officer at Solix. Prior to his work with Solix Biofuels, Mr. Schoonover was Vice President of Enginuity, a company focused on helping the gas pipeline industry meet increasingly stringent and costly exhaust emissions regulations for industrial internal combustion engines without sacrificing efficiency and reliability. Mr. Schoonover is an expert in directing programs for the applied development, demonstration, and evaluation of key technologies with the focus on solving real world problems. He has a background in model-based and knowledge based controls. Mr. Schoonover has a B.S and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.

David Maytubby
David Maytubby is Chief Financial Officer at Solix. Most recently, David served as the Chief Financial Officer for The Broe Group. The Broe Group is an international investment, acquisition, and operational enterprise headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The company is involved in an expanding and diverse array of businesses and industries including technology, real estate, healthcare, transportation, and energy. Prior to his experience with The Broe Group, David was Chief Financial Officer of BrightLink Networks, Inc., a Venture Capital funded optical switching company. As CFO, he was responsible for all finance functions and successfully raised $120 million of private equity and debt funds. David has over 23 years of experience in both private and public financial roles of increasing responsibility where he participated in over $1 Billion of Merger/Acquisition transactions and public offerings of debt and equity. David began his career in 1985 in public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick and earned his CPA certification in 1987.
